Workshops are one night events that are typically 2- 3 hrs long. All Workshops have a healing activity or relevant grief and loss topic as the workshop’s focus.

- SOUL CARDS: Two different workshops using Deborah Koff- Chapin’s, “Soul Cards” and different writing techniques to explore yourself, your grief and healing. These two workshops will be different and can be attended by the same participants if desired. 2/18/10 from 6-8 pm- RSVP by 2/11/10 and 3/15/10 from 6-8 pm- RSVP by 3/8/10

- Strokes of Healing: A workshop for those that are interested in the healing capabilities of using watercolor for grief and loss work and self-care. No prior artistic training needed to participate. 6-8 pm on 4/12/10, RSVP by 4/5/10

- Gardening the Soul: A self-care workshop for mourners in the spirit of spring’s rebirth. 6-8 pm on 4/29/10, RSVP due by 4/22/10   

- Remembering Our Mothers: A workshop for those who have lost a mother. 6-8 pm on 5/10/10, RSVP due by 5/3/10

- Memorial Day Workshop: A remembrance celebration for all that are mourning. 6-8 pm on 6/1/10, RSVP due by 5/24/10

- Remembering Our Fathers: A workshop for those who have lost a father. 6-8 pm on 6/17/10, RSVP due by 6/10/10

These events are FREE and open to ANYONE that is in need of grief support.  Registration is required for all group participation! Please call Liz Mearkle, MA, ATR/ Registered Art Therapist and Beacon Hospice Bereavement Coordinator to register or with any questions about available group or one on one grief support. All groups are held around the Fall River, Bridgewater or Stoughton, MA areas. Contact Liz at 508.324.1900 for more information!

  • Scheduler
    Responsible for establishing, updating, and communicating the visit schedule of all interdisciplinary staff members.

  • Palliative Care NP
    Provide Palliative Care Services for our subsidiary Beacon Palliative Care Services, Inc.

  • RN Case Manager
    The RN Case Manager provides nursing care and hospice case management to hospice patients and families. Implements nursing interventions and coordinates the Patient/Family Interdisciplinary Plan of Care.
